I spent my childhood in South America surrounded by an incredible combination of British architecture, history, and Caribbean/multicultural influences. Hand carved wood statues, ornate architecture, cobblestone streets, and exotic flora and animals were a daily part of life in the tropics.

Inspired by my grandmother (the embodiment of fusion with Scottish-Portuguese heritage), Hammocks & High Tea offers products that express a modern sensibility of what is commonly known as tropical design. Our home goods collection is made with organic fabrics, including hemp, soy, and organic cotton, and our retail packaging uses recycled or recyclable material. Each product is made by hand, and printed using water based, solvent free inks. Most of my work is inspired by memories, travels, textures, architecture, open air markets… with nature as inspiration it is important that Hammocks & High Tea return the favor.
